NFC Reading Tips by Device

Different devices can create learning opportunities for us to learn more about our phones – you know, those pieces of glass you stare at for hours and hours on end.

Know the location of your NFC reader on your device – not only will it help with using your eVolution card, it will make you look smarter to your prospects too!

iPhone NFC readers are located towards the top of the device. Sometimes you have to tap the top bezel, but it usually works tapping the back near the camera. iPhone NFC readers are on by default due to Apple Pay’s usage of NFC. Devices made after 2017 should have NFC available.

Android NFC placement vary depending on manufacturer and models. Often Samsung devices have the NFC reader towards the lower bottom of the back of the device. Moto devices have their NFC readers located closer to the middle of the back of the device. Note: You will also want to ensure that the NFC reader is on. Some users turn it off to conserve battery power.
